Teachers must be current members of the National Guild to enter students. The audition is open to students of all ages, including adults. Entry divisions are based on advancement, not age. Students perform one to twenty pieces in a private audition with one judge. Entrants are rated on individual merit, not in competition with one another. All who pass receive a pin and certificate.
